The demand for spa pools has reached record levels. With a rise in demand, a shortage of supply, and a rise in freight costs for parts, materials and dispatch, spa pools are now at record prices.

How much do spa pools cost?

Many well-known spa pool brands have increased in price by thousands, making it impossible to purchase one for even $10,000.  Just a few years ago, that was the price of a mid-range spa from a leading brand.  With the prices of spa pools on a steep upward trend, Grant Edwards of Wright Pools and Spas Wellington was determined to keep them within reach of the average person.

Grant and his team have over 30 years of experience selling and servicing spas. Since they have serviced virtually every brand, they know exactly what to look for when selecting a spa that will provide years of stress-free enjoyment. The team are proud members of the NZ and Australian Swimming Pools and Spas Association (SPASA). Members of SPASA are among the most experienced, professional, and recognized members in the industry. SPASA Members have access to the latest technical standards and are bound by the Association’s Code of Ethics.

What is the best spa to buy?

To keep quality within reach of the average family, Wright Pools and Spas Wellington decided to create their own brand of spas. High Country Spas are the latest range of spas available. Naturally, they meet the rigorous quality standards the team expects but are also surprisingly affordable.

Grant Edwards says “the componentry is the same or as good as some of the most luxurious spas on the market at the moment. In fact, the pumps are exactly the same as those used in world-leading brands”.

Products are only as good as their components. There is no way to overstate the importance of inspecting every component of a spa, as it takes just one substandard part to cause a domino effect of issues. That is exactly what the team at Wright Pools and Spas Wellington have done.  Spas were pulled apart, run continuously, listened to, controls inspected, control panels tested, pumps, voltage capacity, circuits, and heaters were all checked. Having sold and serviced spas for over 30 years, they understand what to look for. They have encountered every type of problem, and therefore know exactly what it takes to build a quality spa.

As well as componentry, shell quality is also very important. You want to ensure it is thick and solid, with no blisters and a surface finish that is beautiful, so it maintains its mould. Cheaper quality spas use less fiberglass resin to save money, which is why the shells are thin. Cheaper spas also skimp on insulation, so they’re more expensive to run.  A heavy spa can indicate a quality spa, as there will be a thicker shell.

With a comprehensive warranty and a reputation for customer service, the team was only interested in introducing a new line that would delight their customers as well as be easy to maintain. There are currently six spa pools for sale in the current range, and they accommodate 2-3 through to 6 people. With the very best componentry, an extensive warranty and up to 26 jets, each spa comes with an ozone purification system, touch screen controls, a WiFI app for smartphones, 15 amp plug and play, and a 2-kilowatt heater.

High Country Spas range is available through dealers nationwide. Luxurious, modern, quality spas are now affordable thanks to Wright Pools and Spas. NZ Spa customers can buy a spa pool with confidence from a reputable supplier that is SPASA accredited.
